Human nature is such
that if you sit, they'll say - "No, don't sit!"
If you stand, "What's the matter, walk!"
And if you walk, "Shame on you, sit down!"
If you so much as lie down, they'll bother you - "Get up."
If you don't lie down, no respite, "Lie down for a bit!"
I'm wasting my days getting up and sitting down.
If I'm dying right now, they speak up - "Live."
If they see my living, who knows when
they'll say - "Shame on you, die!"
In tremendous fear I secretly go on living.

The analogy of the soft shell crab
Hard shell crab worth less goes to be sold than of soft shell crabs.
One day...a shopper was going by...the hard-shelled crab skuttles across the table.
On to the Soft Side...
I am worth more because I choose to be...I choose a new identity where as others are comfortable where they are.
I strive to be worth more. No one can tell me I'm not...if I'm destined to die..then I'll die knowing that I am worth it.

Self-consciousness exists in itself and for itself.
You determine who YOU...want to be...no one else.
True you'll have to work around "some" people when appropriate.
But live above the influence.
Don't belittle yourself.
