You're about 10 months late, the raid was pretty much over by February, though the protests (which many considered "cancerous") continued for a while longer. Actually, that was my introduction to the world of the *chans, which led me back to anime and such, which led me to Touhou and such, and a million other things, and secret *chans behind the *chans.
